TEC Announces Mitch Turner as New President!
TEC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mitch Turner as our new President, effective March 8, 2024.
Mitch brings a wealth of experience and leadership qualities to TEC. He is a dedicated and caring leader who is focused on empowering our employees to not only grow at work, but in their personal and spiritual lives. He shares TEC’s values of customer focus, professionalism and teamwork.
Proven Leadership and Growth Mindset
Mitch has been with TEC for nine years and has consistently demonstrated his leadership abilities. He possesses a strong understanding of the company’s operations and a passion for helping our team reach its full potential. Our CEO Buddy Simpkins stated, “I have watched Mitch grow over the years and am impressed at his efforts to learn from whomever or wherever he can to become a better leader. He knows that we all have room for growth.”
We couldn’t let Mitch take the reins without a nod to his favorite pastime, baseball. Beyond his passion for coaching, he thrives on helping others reach their full potential. This translates perfectly to the TEC team, where his focus on personnel development is a valuable asset to us all. As Jackie Robinson said, “A life is not important except the impact it has on others,” and we believe Mitch swings for the fences in this regard.
A Bittersweet Transition
We extend our sincere gratitude to Buddy Simpkins for his dedication and leadership over his service. In twenty-four years, he has tripled the growth of TEC. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping TEC to be the successful company it is today. He will remain our CEO in a part-time role. Thank you, Buddy, for your many years of selfless service.
